Virginia Sales Tax Holiday!
Virginia's upcoming sales tax holiday! From May 25-31, purchases of certain items are exempt from state sales tax. Many of these items are for every day use such as bottled water of all types, flashlights and batteries, cell phone batteries, etc.

The Amazing Del Ray-ce
June 6th at 2:30, there will be a scavenger hunt throughout Del Ray. Participants will search for answers to clues and prizes will be awarded at the end of the day. National Train Day
As a ten year veteran of Amtrak’s real estate department, I was on the train every day and loved it! Now we can look forward to National Train Day and the festivities May 9th from 10-3 at Union Station. Randy Jackson of “American Idol” will kick off the event which features musical performances and the Georgia 300, the train President Obama rode from Philadelphia to Washington before his inauguration. Del Ray’s First Thursday returns
Thursday, May 7th is First Thursday along Mount Vernon Avenue from 6-9 pm.
