St. Patrick's Day Parade

Alexandria always celebrates early and this year, the parade is Saturday, March 7th from 12:30-2:30 beginning at King and West Streets and ending at the reviewing stand at King and Royal. Prior to the parade, there’s a classic car show on N. Pitt and King at 10:00 and at 10:30, a Fun Dog show at Market Square/City Hall. The weather is expected to be in the 60’s so it should be a great day. Lots of folks gather after the parade at Pat Troy’s or Murphy’s for some green beer.
